Interested in starting a fundraiser for the students at TriKa? Here are some ideas: bake sale, book sale, jeans day for staff, clean water day (funds for filters), classroom projects and more! Contact us for more information.
Connect with a classroom
By adopting a classroom we will work with you to directly support students at TriKa. We connect you with an Open World director to learn more about these communities via pictures and other media, provide you with information to share with students or colleagues about students and more.
Other activities may include: mystery Skype, video projects, a day in the life (comparing your student’s lives to TriKa student’s lives) or poster projects. We’ll then work with you to create your own fundraiser! The program is adapted to suit your needs.
Read books
Currently, we are working on providing audio/video books for our students abroad. As we work on creating an ESL curriculum, one project you can help with is recording yourself reading books in English. This allows students abroad to hear and see the English language.
Contact us for details on book titles and ways to record your books! We also encourage students to write and illustrate their own stories to read and record!
